WTF Airlines?
$1,000 for us to go to MN in July?? Are you kidding me? We've never paid close to that - even during Christmas!

I don't know - August looks to be the same. I looked into taking the train, which would be fun, but actually more expensive and take longer.

Okay, yes, I just looked it up on Suncountry. Outrageous!!! Even in August it's uber high.

Seriously, the people of this world need to go on strike.

I just paid $45 to fill up my gas tank ... and that was with coupons! I'm still in mourning about that. That's the most I've ever spent.

Yes - it's for all of us, but STILL! Gas prices are not 50% higher than last year! Or even a month or two ago - when I bought tickets to LA!

As for the car - it was $60 for me - good thing Erik gets a bus pass from work so our driving is mostly errands and short trips.

It's gas prices. We are looking at $1000 in December to go to Florida. We never paid more than $600 a few years ago. Paid $800 last year. It's getting really icky out there thanks to Bush. C'mon new President with a new plan!!

But the gas prices have not gone up 50% from a couple months ago! It's not even like MN is a tourist destination, you know?
