Nursing with Simon
I've created a Google map with all of the places I've nursed Simon. Of course, this will be a work in progress, but I think it's kind of neat.

View my map here!

You actually did it! That's really cool, and will be, I'm sure, an inspirational reference for you in the future.

Do you have a wrap-style baby carrier? I'm afraid I'll need a tutorial on nursing while wearing mine with a newborn, since I never got the hang of nursing Stuart while he was in his sling (and, by the time we got the wrap, he was big enough to be carried in the upright position and would have nothing to do with a cradle hold!).

It's kind of a fun thing to do while nursing, actually.

I just got a moby wrap yesterday and I have a mei tai, maya wrap (ring sling), and a sling. I've nursed him in all but the moby. So which one is most like yours?

It's a Moby knock-off. The pocket sling I used when Stuart was a wee little baby was recalled (although we didn't have a problem with it) because the strap was prone to breaking! So, uh, I don't think I'll be recycling that for the new baby.

I'm interested in a mei tai, too, but haven't been able to justify the expense quite yet!

OK - here's some info on nursing in the moby (I haven't tried it yet):
http://www.mobywrap.com/t-instructions-Nursing.aspx

I think one of the keys is wearing a button front shirt - which I never do, so that's lame. Or else a deep v top or "nursing" top - which I also rarely wear. But they do suggest going topless at first to try - which probably would be really nice for you and the newborn anyway!

My mom made my mei tai - what are your favorite colors? I'll get you one as a baby gift!

Seriously!? That's such a kind offer! Lately, I'm really digging the robin's egg blue/chocolate brown combo. But I'm flexible!

I'm lamenting the idea of resorting to button-front shirts for nursing in the Moby. Blech. I guess I could wear some manner of nursing tanktop and then put a zip-up hoodie or cardigan over the wrap. Ugh. Will I ever be able to wear a "normal" bra again?

Good choice - I like those colors too! How much time do I have?

I know - I'm not too keen on the BF shirts myself.
